GRILLED CHICKEN SET MEAL @ RIVERSIDE INDONESIAN BBQ

This stall at Plaza Singapura Kopitiam (level 5, stall 10) always has a long queue. I can understand why. The food is good and value for money. I ordered the grilled chicken set meal (ayam panggang) at $4.80, which comprised of plain rice (with added curry gravy), grilled chicken with black sweet sauce, fried egg and soup. I added extra stir-fried vegetables (cabbage and carrots) at 80 cents.

The chicken thigh with skin was really delicious, tender and juicy. The black sweet sauce was flavourful and went well with the chicken. The fried egg, vegetables and rice were eaten with the superb sambal chilli (with ikan bilis)....really yummy. Highly recommended.
