HAINANESE CHICKEN RICE @ SING HO

Sing Ho 星和 is located at 266 Middle Road. I ordered a one-person set meal which comprised of a plate of chicken rice, white chicken meat and soup. Plus an extra bowl of chicken rice, chicken liver/gizzards and a cup of cold barley drink.

The chicken rice was tasty and not too oily. But it was not as fragrant as the chicken rice from Boon Tong Kee (Balestier Road outlet), Loy Kee (Balestier Road outlet), Pow Sing (Serangoon Gardens) and Tian Tian (Maxwell Food Centre). The chicken meat and liver/gizzards were tender and flavourful. They went very well with the chilli/ginger and black soya sauce.
