CHAR KWAY TEOW @ HILL STREET CHAR KWAY TEOW (BEDOK SOUTH)

Hill Street Char Kway Teow 禧街炒粿条 stall is located at Bedok South Blk 16 Hawker Centre #01-187. I was lucky my plate of char kway teow was fried by the elderly uncle Mr Ng. He has been selling this delicacy for decades and his knowledgeable control of fire and timing make his cooking famous. 

The char kway teow was really good and not too oily. The beansprouts were crunchy and the hum (cockles) were cooked just right. Too bad this time there were no bits of crispy pork lard. To me, this is probably the best char kway teow in Singapore.
